Ali Stokke fell in love with pole vaulting when she was very young. She was born into a family that loved sports. David Stokke, Allison’s brother, was a skilled gymnast when he was younger. Allyson tried gymnastics as a sport once, but she wasn’t very good at it. Then she practiced pole vaulting, which she was very good at, and she decided to help herself grow.
Back in 2004, Allison Stokke won the US Championship when she broke the school record for girls ages 15 and 16. She jumped 3.86 meters, which is 12 feet and 8 inches. Rankings across the country for high school sports were just the start of her athletic career.
She broke her own record in 2005, when she was a sophomore in college. She climbed 4.11m, which is 13 feet and 5.75 inches.
Shortly after climbing 4.11 meters, she hurt her ankle while practicing because she didn’t count her steps correctly. Doctors told her to take a break so she could get better. As a result, Allison Stokke couldn’t fight for six months. When someone gets hurt in sports, they often need medical care to get better. A lot of athletes noticed how good she was at pole vaulting, and she got a scholarship to go to the University of California and play on the California Golden Bears team. She beat her old record by climbing 4.21 m, which is 13 feet and 9.75 inches, in her second year of school.
At two NCAA women’s division championships, Allison Stokke participated, and at the 2011 NCAA indoor championships, she was named to the regional academic honor roll. When she finished eighth at the NCAA indoor final, she was named an all-American. Additionally, she came in eighth place in the PAC 10 championship.
Allison Stokke has always been very determined to see what it takes to be in the Olympics.The final and all-time record for Allison Stokke is 4.36m, which is 14 feet and 3.625 inches. In 2012, when she was planning to go to the Olympics, she set the record.
Stokke failed to meet the requirements to attend the American Olympic Team Trials because she did not achieve the necessary pass mark that year. She tried to get into the Olympics for the United States, but she failed to clear the 4.25-meter bar.
It got worse and worse for Allison Stokke until she quit pole vaulting and decided to keep working with brands as a model and funded athlete.

When Allison Stokke was 17, she became famous on the internet one nite, not because she was a pole vaulter, but because of a picture. One Californian track and field website put up a picture of her, and a mostly male sports blog shared it with the headline “Pole vaulting is sexy, barely legal.”
The picture of Allison Stokke went insanely popular and was shared on almost all social media sites. LA influencers quickly shared the picture with their networks, which made it even more popular.
